Central Coast Orienteers is hosting the Oceania Sprint Championships for 2026 on behalf of the IOF, OA and ONSW on the Central Coast and introducing the inaugural Sprint the Coast Weekend.
We are seeking Course Setters and Controllers for the Oceania Sprint Championships and Sprint the Coast events for the Australia Day Long weekend 2026 Jan 24-26 2025.
Here is a golden opportunity to make some great sprint courses on new maps on the Central Coast of NSW. Much easier physically than trapsing through the bush! Do you want to hone your skills for sprint then be a setter to provide puzzles and challenges to the Oceania’s best elites.

We will support you with assistance to use OCAD course setting (this will be the program to be used for all events) and accommodation if required. Most venues are accessible by Public Transport. Mapping is progressing.You will need to be available for consultation and meetings during October and November.Course planning to be finalised by the end of November 2025.
